New Training Package coming

The CPP07 training package (the current training requirement for Real Estate licensing across Australia) has been superseded by the CPP training package.

The website shows this training as being both superseded and current, which means that the current training for the CPP07 package can still be trained. Previously, ASQA had advised that training from this package could be provided until 19 March 2020. ASQA has now advised that this package will be valid until 30 September 2021.

Please see detailed information here -

  • Victorian Estate Agent licence - CPP40307 Certificate IV in Property Services (Real Estate)

As this is a recent change, Consumer Affairs Victoria are yet to pick up this as the requirement for licence and registration training with the training requirement remaining as above. You can view this here.

What does this mean for students and agents?

Students can still confidently enrol in the current training and should endeavour to complete their course by 30 September 2021.

The College will work with you to help meet any deadlines.
